The Grand Cinema Suite

McIntosh XRT2.1K line arrays on MC2.1KW and MC1.25KW monoblocks, with Sonus faber Arena surrounds and heights, REL Carbon Special subwoofer line arrays, Trinnov Altitude32 and Barco Freya.
The front stage is a pair of McIntosh XRT2.1K line arrays — 81 drivers each in a vertical column, ported 4-way, tri-amp capable, rated to 2,000 watts. Amplification matches: MC2.1KW monoblocks delivering 2,000 watts a channel through a tri-chassis design, with MC1.25KW monoblocks at 1,250 watts. Every one of them uses the McIntosh Autoformer, so full rated power reaches the loudspeaker at 2, 4 or 8 ohms alike.
Surrounds and height channels are Sonus faber Arena — the CI-FI collection built to hold custom installation to the same standard as the floorstanders. Arena 20 in-walls run 3.5-way with the Voice of Sonus faber transducer set, 92 dB sensitive and good for 117 dB at a metre. Arena 10s carry Atmos heights and surrounds on four 6.5-inch woofers, a 6.25-inch midrange and a 19 mm tweeter apiece.
Low frequency comes from REL Carbon Special Black Label subwoofers arranged in line arrays of up to three per side, built on the pure carbon fibre drive units REL uses in its Reference series.
The Trinnov Altitude32 handles decoding and correction. It renders Dolby Atmos Home at the full 24.x.10 count and DTS:X Pro at 30.2, and its Optimizer and patented Remapping measure where every loudspeaker actually sits before steering sound elements to where the mixer intended. Projection is a Barco Freya from the Cinema at Home series — native 4K DLP at 4,096 x 2,160, solid state RGB laser, DCI compliant with a Barco Alchemy ICMP-X media server.
