About LMC

Elevating Sound in Arizona Since 1999

Two showrooms. One obsession.

Everything in the service of music

LMC Home Entertainment was founded in Arizona in 1999 to serve the Southwest’s most discerning music and cinema enthusiasts. We started with a simple conviction: that recorded music, played through the right components in a properly-treated room, could move you the way a live performance moves you. Since then, that conviction has run everything we do.

We now operate two showrooms — our flagship in Scottsdale and our companion location in Tempe. Between them: multiple fully-treated listening and cinema rooms. The room is as much a component as anything on the equipment rack, and every one of ours has been voiced across years of listening.

We represent the brands we do because they share this obsession. Wilson Audio hand-builds every speaker in Provo, Utah. Dan D’Agostino personally hand-delivers new equipment to our showroom. Burmester ships their newest Reference Line amplifier direct from Berlin. That kind of access is earned across decades — and we intend to earn it for decades more.

What Our Clients Say

If you're looking for a truly exceptional high-end audio experience, I can't recommend LMC highly enough. From the moment I walked in, it was clear that this wasn't just another audio dealership — it's a place run by people who are genuinely passionate about great sound.

The team at LMC took the time to understand what I was looking for, answered every question with incredible knowledge, and never made me feel pressured. Their expertise in high-end audio is outstanding, and they guided me toward equipment that perfectly matched my needs and budget.

I've been an LMC customer since roughly 2006, and I still can't think of a better experience in high-end audio. Over that time they've built my system piece by piece — Wilson front, center, and surround speakers, McIntosh electronics, REL subwoofers, and a Sony flagship television — and nothing was ever simply dropped off. Their speaker setup is genuinely a craft: they take the time to place, angle, and voice every speaker to the room, and the room optimization work they do is what makes the system disappear and leaves you with nothing but the music.

They ran a full panel calibration on the television with a professional colorimeter, tuned my turntable and mounted a new cartridge, and dialed in the home theater processor so every channel locked into place. What tells you who a dealer really is, though, is what happens after the sale — when my RELs developed a bass-response issue well down the road, they came back out, dug in, and resolved it completely. You simply can't beat that level of support. LMC has earned every bit of my loyalty.

The Reference Rooms

The way we’ve listened since 1999 informs how each of our rooms is voiced. Come hear what is possible when the room is treated as seriously as the equipment.

The People Behind the Sound

Everything you hear in our rooms is chosen, set up, and voiced by the people of LMC — the team that has made high-end audio their life's work.

Pre-Owned and Trade-Ins

We take trade-ins, and there is almost always pre-owned equipment available. What that inventory holds changes close to daily, which is why it is not listed here — the useful thing is to tell us what you are looking for.

Everything we sell pre-owned is fully inspected and bench tested before it leaves us, and most of it is in mint or near-mint condition. In a great many cases we sold the piece new to its first owner and took it back when they moved further up the hierarchy — which means we know how it has been used, what room it lived in, and what has been done to it since.

If there is a particular component you are after, or you would like to hear from us when one comes in, let us know and we will register the interest. Walk in during business hours, book ahead, or send us a note.
