Description
The ICS3FR takes Wisdom's planar magnetic thinking into a ceiling. It uses the company's Spiral Planar Magnetic Driver — the same driver philosophy behind the larger in-wall and free-standing systems, adapted to a full-range, minimal-appearance ceiling-mounted form.
Off-axis dispersion is where in-ceiling loudspeakers usually fail. A ceiling speaker is almost never pointed at anyone, so its performance away from the axis is not a secondary specification, it is the specification. Wisdom's stated design priority for the ICS3FR is exactly that, alongside clarity.
It is the right answer in whole-home installations, and in rooms where the architecture will not tolerate a visible loudspeaker but the client still expects the system to sound like the rest of the house.
