Description
PC 582 is the larger 2-way round in-ceiling loudspeaker of the Palladio Level 5 Collection — the Level 5 counterpart to PC 682 in Level 6, built around an 8-inch midwoofer instead of the 6.5-inch driver used in PC 562. The larger cone extends low-frequency response and increases output for rooms and open-plan spaces where PC 562 lacks headroom.
The tweeter is unchanged from the rest of the Level 5 range: 29 mm DAD (Damped Apex Dome) silk soft dome. The midwoofer is an 8-inch paper cone with natural fibre and cellulose pulp blend. Satin aluminum trim carries the Sonetto-derived 'Voice of Sonus faber' aesthetic. Loading is infinite baffle. Magnetic edgeless round metal grille, ready to be painted; optional square magnetic grille available. Swing-out dogs plasterboard fixing. Optional pre-mount kit available for new-construction installations. Handcrafted in Vicenza.
