Sonus faber Sonetto G2 Wall

Sonetto G2 Wall is the on-wall loudspeaker of Sonus faber's second-generation Sonetto Collection — the only sealed-box design in the Sonetto G2 range, engineered for surround, height, or discreet main-channel duty in installations where a floor-standing or bookshelf cabinet is not practical.

The 2-way system carries the same driver technology as the Sonetto II G2 bookshelf: a 1.1-inch DAD (Damped Apex Dome) silk soft dome tweeter and a 6.5-inch paper pulp sandwich midwoofer with flower-pattern suspension. Voice-matching to the Sonetto II G2 is by design — a surround array built around Sonetto II G2 mains, Sonetto G2 Center centre, and Sonetto G2 Wall surrounds reads as a coherent set because the tweeter and midwoofer complement is consistent across all three positions.

Cabinet loading is sealed rather than vented — a deliberate choice for on-wall use, because a rear-ported cabinet cannot vent when it is mounted flush to a wall. The sealed design gives the loudspeaker a flatter power response and better transient behaviour at the cost of the last 5 Hz of low-end extension — an acceptable trade-off for an on-wall surround.

Recommended amplification is 30 to 200 watts. Available in Black, Walnut or Wenge open-pore fine wood finish with hand-applied Italian leather accents. Best paired with a Gravis subwoofer for the bottom octave.
