Sonus faber Olympica Nova V

Olympica Nova V was the flagship of Sonus faber's 2019 Olympica Nova Collection — the second generation of the Olympica line launched in 2013 and now succeeded by the current Olympica G3. Olympica Nova V remains available at LMC alongside the newer G3 for listeners who prefer the specific driver character and finish palette of the Nova generation, or as legacy inventory at attractive positioning.

The Olympica Nova line was Sonus faber's first to feature original drivers entirely designed in-house at Vicenza — an important step in the company's engineering maturity. The Nova refresh brought the collection cabinet and driver technology into line with the most advanced developments of that period, while preserving the timeless values that inspired the original line.

The 3-way full para-aperiodic vented box 'Stealth Ultraflex' system uses three woofers for powerful low frequencies, combined with mid-high frequencies for a detailed, warm, enchanting sound. The asymmetrical lute-shaped cabinet minimizes internal resonances. The front baffle and top are made in walnut or wengè hand-finished natural wood, set in a solid die-cast aluminum plate. Natural Italian leather is hand-applied around the Voice of Sonus faber tweeter/midrange configuration and the aesthetic rings around the woofers.
