Sonus faber Olympica G3 I

Olympica G3 I is the standmount loudspeaker of Sonus faber's third-generation Olympica Collection, introduced in mid-2026 as the successor to the Olympica Nova I. The collection takes its name and its proportions from Palladio's Teatro Olimpico in Vicenza, and the G3 I is its entry point and the model for rooms that will not take a floorstander — a compact two-way that carries the same cabinet discipline, the same driver technology, and the same hand finishing as the towers above it.

The 2-way vented system pairs a 28 mm DAD Arrow Point extended-frequency silk-dome tweeter, cork-lined behind the dome to absorb internal reflections, with a 165 mm paper-cone midwoofer with copper cap. The crossover point is set at 2,300 Hz. Frequency response is 57 Hz – 40,000 Hz, sensitivity 87 dB SPL (2.83 V/1 m), nominal impedance 4 ohms, with a recommended amplifier range of 30 – 250 W.

The cabinet is the asymmetrical Olympica lute shape scaled to standmount size, in hand-finished walnut or wengè real-wood veneer with solid aluminum and hand-applied Italian leather. Each speaker measures 370 × 210 × 370 mm (14.6 × 8.3 × 14.6 in) and weighs 11 kg (24.3 lb); on the matching Olympica G3 stand the pair stands 1052 mm (41.4 in) tall at 27.2 kg (60 lb) per side, stand included.
