Description
Arena S15 is the larger of Sonus faber's two Arena in-wall subwoofers — a modular balanced design engineered for reference-tier custom cinema installations that need substantial low-frequency output inside the wall rather than in front of it. The balanced-motor topology puts equal reactive force on both sides of the driver's magnet system, which reduces the vibration the cabinet transmits into the surrounding wall structure — a critical detail in a residence where a subwoofer cabinet is bolted into stud framing shared with adjoining rooms.
The driver complement is four 6.5-inch paper-cone transducers arranged in a balanced configuration, driven to 400 watts of power handling. Cabinet construction is wood and aluminium with a rigid front baffle and a sealed enclosure. Mounting depth is 202 mm, which requires deeper-than-standard wall cavity planning — the trade-off for the extended low-frequency output the driver complement can produce.
Optional square magnetic grille. Frame kit sold separately (KIT391FIN). The correct low-frequency partner for an Arena 30 or 30H front-stage in a Grand Cinema-scale room, or stackable / combinable for output levels beyond what a single unit produces. Handcrafted in Vicenza.
