Sonus faber Arena 30

Arena 30 is the flagship model of Sonus faber's Arena Ci-Fi (Custom Install Fidelity) collection — a 4-way in-wall LCR loudspeaker engineered as the front-stage anchor for the highest-tier custom-install home cinemas. The Arena collection was launched at CEDIA 2022 as Sonus faber's dedicated response to the demand for reference-tier loudspeakers that install into a wall rather than sit on the floor, and Arena 30 sits at the top of that range.

The driver complement is what distinguishes Arena 30 from the rest of the range: 2 x 8-inch low-frequency transducers, 2 x 6.25-inch mid-frequency transducers, a 1.5-inch (38 mm) silk dome tweeter, and a 0.75-inch (19 mm) super tweeter. Both the tweeter and super tweeter carry dedicated waveguides that extend off-axis high-frequency dispersion — the design detail that keeps dialogue and effects pristine across a full row of cinema seats rather than only at the centre listening position. Using two drivers per bandwidth roughly doubles the emission power a single-driver design would deliver at the same excursion, giving Arena 30 a rated power handling of 600 W.

The natural-material cones on the woofers and mid-woofers carry the Sonus faber Natural Sound signature into cinema-scale output — the reason Arena exists as a distinct product line rather than as a rebadged in-wall commodity design.
