Sonus faber Gravis VI

Gravis VI is the flagship of Sonus faber's Gravis powered subwoofer line — the largest and most capable of the Gravis III, V, and VI models designed to be the perfect complement to all the loudspeaker collections that have marked Sonus faber's history. The Gravis line ranges from the compact Gravis I 8-inch model through the Gravis VI, and VI is the subwoofer engineered specifically for Sonus faber's most demanding two-channel and home cinema systems.

Gravis VI is engineered to extend and reinforce the low-frequency capability of even Sonus faber's largest floorstanding designs — including Suprema, Aida, and the Homage Collection. Where those floorstanders already carry substantial low-frequency response, Gravis VI adds the sub-30Hz capability that fully-realized reference systems require, whether that's for the deepest orchestral scale or for cinematic reference in home theater installations.

The Gravis III, V, and VI share the same core active-subwoofer architecture, scaled by driver size and cabinet volume. All three integrate transparently with Sonus faber loudspeakers via the collection's signature warm and detailed voice, avoiding the sonic disconnect that mismatched subwoofers can introduce. Optional Transmitter accessory (Gravis Series) enables wireless integration where cable routing would compromise placement.

Gravis VI is available at LMC for audition. Ideal system pairings: Suprema, Aida, Lilium, Il Cremonese, Amati G5/Supreme, or Stradivari G2 for reference stereo systems; also strong in Olympica G3 or Sonetto G2-anchored home cinema installations.
