Sonus faber Arena 30H

Arena 30H is the horizontal-orientation variant of Arena 30 — same 4-way driver complement, same Ci-Fi engineering, but the cabinet is redesigned around a horizontal layout. The reason it exists as a distinct product is MicroLED: MicroLED cinema displays cannot be perforated for acoustic transparency the way a projection screen can, so the front-stage loudspeakers have to sit above or below the display rather than behind it. In a room where the display fills the wall, a horizontal loudspeaker is the only geometry that fits.

The driver complement is unchanged from Arena 30: 2 x 8-inch low-frequency transducers, 2 x 6.25-inch mid-frequency transducers, a 1.5-inch (38 mm) silk dome tweeter with dedicated waveguide, and a 0.75-inch (19 mm) super tweeter with dedicated waveguide. Power handling stays at 600 W. The waveguides on both tweeters extend off-axis dispersion the same way they do on the vertical Arena 30 — which matters more, not less, when the loudspeaker is mounted horizontally under a display and the audience sits below its acoustic axis.

An optional square magnetic grille is available. Handcrafted in Vicenza. The correct front-stage centre channel for a Grand Cinema-scale MicroLED installation.
