Description
Medea is Barco Residential's entry point, and the interesting thing about it is how little has been removed. Up to 6,500 ANSI lumens from a laser phosphor light source, 4K UHD resolution, and the same custom Pulse electronics platform that runs the projectors above it — including Warp to Center, which switches aspect ratios instantly rather than waiting on lens memory presets.
It is designed, optimised and manufactured in Barco's European design centres, and it is aimed at small to medium media rooms and dedicated home cinemas rather than large-screen theatres.
For a room where a Nerthus or a Njord would be more projector than the screen can use, Medea is the way into the Barco platform without stepping outside it.
