Description
Bragi is the one Barco Residential projector that does not use a laser. Its light comes from a high lumens density RGB LED engine, and the reason to specify it is colour: LED produces a P3/DCI gamut that stays consistent across the whole output range, without the speckle that laser illumination has to engineer around.
Output is up to 2,600 lumens, which places it firmly in dedicated rooms with full light control rather than open-plan spaces. In exchange it runs below 30 dB — quiet enough that the projector is not part of what you hear — and the light source is rated to 50,000 hours, which for most private cinemas is effectively the life of the installation.
It shares Balder's design language, optical core and lenses, with nine lens options and a Cinemascope version for native widescreen rooms. Bragi is the choice when the room is properly dark and the priority is colour and silence rather than brightness.
