On Saturday, October 10, 2026, LMC Home Entertainment was proud to be a Night of Awards Sponsor of the fourth annual ICONIC Design Awards, presented by ICONIC LIFE Magazine and Monogram at the Phoenix Art Museum.
The black-tie ceremony recognizes the best work by Arizona-based design professionals across five disciplines: interior design, architecture, landscape design, product design and building. Entries are submitted anonymously and judged on merit by national panels of architects and designers from outside Arizona, with winners published in the October issue of ICONIC LIFE.
In the celebration lounge
LMC set up in the celebration lounge, where winners and guests gathered for food, drink and music through the evening. We brought three loudspeakers that make the case, in very different ways, that reference-grade audio belongs in a beautifully designed home.
Wilson Audio — The WATT/Puppy
The WATT/Puppy is the loudspeaker that built Wilson Audio's reputation. Dave Wilson designed the original WATT in 1986 as a compact studio monitor and added the Puppy bass module beneath it, and the pairing stayed in production through eight generations until 2011. For the company's 50th anniversary in 2024, Wilson brought it back as a fully remastered design, keeping the iconic two-box silhouette and fitting it with the Convergent Synergy Carbon tweeter, a 7-inch AlNiCo QuadraMag midrange and twin 8-inch woofers drawn from the current Sasha V. Each pair is built by hand in Provo, Utah, and finished in Wilson's automotive-grade paint facility in a wide range of colors.
LMC is Arizona's exclusive displaying dealer for Wilson Audio, and the WATT/Puppy is on demonstration in both our Scottsdale and Tempe showrooms.
Sonus faber — Serafino G2
Handcrafted in Vicenza, Italy, the Sonus faber Serafino G2 belongs to the Homage Collection, the line Sonus faber names for the great Venetian violin makers. Serafino is its tribute to Santo Serafino, the eighteenth-century luthier, and the loudspeaker is built the way his instruments were: the rounded, lute-shaped cabinet is formed from nine layers of grain-matched natural wood and finished with nine coats of lacquer, accented with Italian leather. The curves are not only beautiful — they reduce internal resonance. In a lounge full of designers and architects, it was the loudspeaker that most clearly reads as a piece of furniture and as an instrument at the same time.
MBL — Radialstrahler
Founded in Berlin in 1979 and still built in Germany, MBL's Radialstrahler loudspeakers use omnidirectional drivers that radiate sound in all directions rather than aiming at a single seat. In a lounge full of people moving between conversations, that matters: the soundstage holds together wherever you stand. The MBL 120 MKII that LMC displayed is a compact three-way stand-mount, carrying the radial tweeter and midrange character of the flagship 101 E MK II with a pair of push-push woofers handling the bass in a cabinet sized for a real living room.
Why we were there
Since 1999, LMC has designed music and cinema systems for homes across Arizona and beyond, and the architects, builders and interior designers honored at the ICONIC Design Awards are the people we work alongside on those projects. A reference system is part of the design of a room, not an afterthought in it, and we were glad to spend an evening with the community that understands that best.
Congratulations to every 2026 ICONIC Award winner and honoree. Thank you to ICONIC LIFE and Monogram for an exceptional night, and to the Phoenix Art Museum for hosting.
