Product Details
TuneTot is Wilson Audio's compact stand-mount monitor — designed, remarkably, for the environments most hostile to Wilson's usual voice. Desktop. Bookshelf. Near-wall placement. Rooms that were never going to be dedicated to listening. Named in homage to the original WATT, the loudspeaker that founded the company in 1985, it exists to answer a fair question: how much of the Wilson experience survives when the floor-stander is off the table?
More than the size suggests. The cabinet is built from the same X-Material and S-Material composites as the reference line — which is why a loudspeaker fourteen inches tall weighs twenty-one pounds — and the Convergent Synergy tweeter sits over a 5¾″ paper-composite woofer in an enclosure engineered for the compromised positions where a small loudspeaker actually lives, rather than for an anechoic chamber it will never see. In-room response runs 65 Hz to 23 kHz within ±3 dB, and 25 watts is a genuine working minimum.
The Tempe demonstration makes the argument deliberately: TuneTot on Dan D'Agostino Progression electronics — a preamplifier and integrated from the line directly below Momentum — which is the opposite of the usual approach to a small loudspeaker. Put genuinely serious electronics in front of a small Wilson and hear how much of the reference-room experience survives the reduction in scale. That is the audition, and it changes minds.
Add the LōKē subwoofer and the system becomes full-range while staying invisible in the room — the pairing Wilson designed them for.
