Product Details
The Amplitude16 answers the amplification problem a large immersive theatre creates: sixteen channels of real power, without sixteen chassis. Two independent eight-channel sections, each with its own linear power supply, share a 2U chassis. Every channel delivers 200 watts into 8 ohms, 400 into 4, or 800 bridged — enough for demanding LCR loudspeakers, subwoofers or bass arrays.
The detail that matters is input sensitivity. It is matched precisely to the Altitude platform's output, which preserves dynamic range and drops system noise by six to eight decibels against a generic amplifier fed the same signal. In a multi-channel system that difference compounds across every channel.
The optional Dante input board makes end-to-end Audio-over-IP possible alongside AltitudeCI, moving conversion closer to the loudspeakers while keeping the same reference DAC architecture used across the Altitude line.
