Description
The Altitude48ext extends the Altitude32 into cinema-scale immersive systems. Combined with a fully unlocked Altitude32 — 32 analogue plus 16 digital outputs — it enables 48 discrete decoded outputs and up to 64 total processing outputs, enough for the largest private theatres, dedicated Atmos rooms, and high-channel-count active loudspeaker installations.
It delivers the full 24.1.10 Home Atmos layout, which no consumer processor had managed before, while leaving system designers complete freedom over bass management, multi-amping and Trinnov's Remapping. The additional 32 Optimizer channels calibrate active crossovers or extended subwoofer arrays to the same standard as the base processor.
