Sonus faber Palladio PL 664

PL 664 is the top LCR (Left/Centre/Right) in-wall loudspeaker of the Palladio Level 6 Collection — a 3-way design engineered as the front-stage anchor for high-end custom-installation cinemas where every channel of the front stage must carry the same acoustic engineering. The reversible midrange/tweeter assembly is what makes the design work as a full LCR set: the same cabinet installs horizontally (as a centre channel) or vertically (as left or right), by rearranging the driver module and swapping the wooden panel to the matching orientation. Two panel versions ship with the loudspeaker to support both arrangements.

The driver complement is a 29 mm DAD (Damped Apex Dome) silk soft dome tweeter, a dedicated midrange driver, and four 6.5-inch paper-cone woofers with natural fibre and cellulose pulp blend — the highest driver count in the Level 6 in-wall range. Cabinet is a wooden sealed box for sound insulation and precise driver loading. Voice of Sonus faber leather detailing. Optional Premium Kit available: natural wood front panel with hand-made maple inlays (Walnut or Wenge), paintable magnetic frame, elastic string grille. Magnetic edgeless rectangular metal grille, ready to be painted. Swing-out dogs plasterboard fixing. Handcrafted in Vicenza.
