Description
PC 683 is the 3-way in-ceiling loudspeaker of the Palladio Level 6 Collection — the higher-order model that adds a dedicated midrange driver to the 2-way topology used by PC 662 and PC 682, giving the loudspeaker better acoustic separation between the three frequency bands. It is the correct in-ceiling for reference-tier custom installations where a 2-way design won't do justice to the source material.
The tweeter is the same 29 mm DAD (Damped Apex Dome) silk soft dome used across the Level 6 range. The dedicated midrange driver is the addition versus PC 682. The 8-inch paper-cone woofer with natural fibre and cellulose pulp blend handles the low frequencies. Voice of Sonus faber leather detailing frames the tweeter. Loading is infinite baffle. Magnetic edgeless metal grille, ready to be painted; optional square magnetic grille available. Swing-out dogs plasterboard fixing. Handcrafted in Vicenza.
