Product Details

Description

Omnia is Sonus faber's single-cabinet all-in-one active wireless speaker system — the company's answer to the Naim Mu-so category, launched in 2022 and positioned as a complete HiFi system in one 650 mm cabinet. Seven drivers, 490 watts of DSP-optimised amplification, and enough connectivity to serve as the only audio component in a room.

The driver complement is unusual for a one-box design. Two 0.75-inch silk-dome tweeters and two 3-inch paper-pulp midrange cones handle the front-firing signal; a single 6.5-inch long-throw aluminium-cone woofer fires downward into an open port at the base, with an illuminated ring around the port. Two additional 1.75-inch full-range drivers sit at either end of the cabinet, driven through Sonus faber's Crescendo processing — a proprietary mix of in-phase bipole and anti-phase dipole dispersion that widens the stereo image well beyond what the cabinet's 650 mm width should produce.

Connectivity is complete. HDMI ARC lets the Omnia serve as a television speaker that responds to the TV remote. A built-in phono preamplifier accepts a turntable directly through the RCA inputs (switchable to line level). Streaming covers AirPlay 2, Chromecast built-in, Spotify Connect, Tidal Connect, Roon Ready, and Bluetooth over dual-band WiFi or Ethernet. The SENSO illuminated wooden top panel handles direct control; a handheld remote and the Sonus faber app cover everything else. Web-based setup provides Room Placement and EQ modes for room-specific tuning.

Frequency response reaches 30 Hz at the low end, with the closed-box loading keeping the bass tight rather than boomy. Dimensions are 130 mm high by 650 mm wide by 282 mm deep at 7.6 kilograms. Available in Walnut veneer or Graphite finish.
