Sonus faber Concertino Standard Edition

Concertino Standard Edition is the smallest and most approachable model in Sonus faber's Heritage Collection — a compact 2-way stand-mount that carries the Heritage material discipline in a footprint suited to smaller rooms, secondary systems, and desks. The Heritage anchor pieces are Electa Amator III and Maxima Amator, both larger and more expensive; Concertino is where the collection's language enters at an accessible price.

The cabinet is built around a cork enclosure design — an unusual choice that reduces internal resonance and structural noise in a way solid wood alone cannot. A 1.1-inch DAD Arrow Point tweeter and a 5.25-inch ferrite-magnet midwoofer sit on a vented cabinet configuration, crossed at 1,700 Hz. Frequency response is 60 Hz to 25 kHz at 85 dB sensitivity into 4 ohms, with recommended amplification of 30 to 150 watts.

Cabinet finishes are Heritage-consistent: solid walnut with a patented plant-based leather alternative from Ohoskin, brass matte detailing or polished steel. The dedicated iron stand — available separately — lifts each cabinet to standard listening height, taking the assembly to 1,044 mm overall.

Each speaker weighs 6.6 kilograms; the stand pair adds 14.5 kilograms. Handcrafted in Vicenza. A natural entry point into the Sonus faber Heritage aesthetic, and a strong companion to a Gravis I or II subwoofer for full-range performance in a smaller room.
