Sonus faber Arena S10

Arena S10 is the smaller and shallower of Sonus faber's two Arena in-wall subwoofers — a modular balanced design with a distinctive tall, narrow footprint that lets it fit into wall cavities where a conventional subwoofer cabinet cannot. Where Arena S15 uses four 6.5-inch drivers in a wider format, S10 stacks eight 4-inch drivers into a tall column, trading individual driver excursion for cabinet aspect ratio.

The eight 4-inch paper-cone woofers use neodymium magnets and Sonus faber's non-symmetric organic basket geometry — the same basket design philosophy used across the Arena range, which keeps the structure rigid while allowing free cone motion and reducing air-pressure buildup behind the driver. Non-circular surrounds control edge vibration across the cone perimeter. Frequency response reaches 33 Hz at the low end (–3 dB, on axis), with a recommended Butterworth 12 dB/oct low-pass filter at 35 Hz.

Sensitivity is 90.6 dB into 4 ohms with 250 W power handling. Cabinet dimensions are 1,486 mm high by 360 mm wide by 130 mm deep, with a shallow 115 mm mounting depth — which is the design detail that lets S10 install into wall cavities S15 cannot.
