Sonus faber Arena 2

Arena 2 is the compact 3-way in-wall LCR loudspeaker of Sonus faber's Arena Ci-Fi collection — the intermediate small-format model between the mid-tier Arena 5 and the smallest Arena 1. It is the loudspeaker for a smaller custom cinema front stage where Arena 5 would visually and acoustically dominate, and the correct surround or height loudspeaker in a larger room anchored on Arena 30 or Arena 5 fronts.

The driver complement scales down from Arena 5 while retaining the 3-way topology: two 6.5-inch paper-cone woofers with neodymium magnets handle the low frequencies, a single 5.25-inch paper-cone midrange carries the midband, and the same 1.1-inch (28 mm) silk-dome tweeter with neodymium magnet and copper cap covers the highs. Sharing the tweeter with Arena 5 (and the rest of the Arena range) is what makes voice-matching a full Arena system possible — dialogue and music that cross between an Arena 30 main, an Arena 5 centre, and an Arena 2 surround should not change tonal character on the way.

Wood-and-aluminium sealed enclosure with rigid front baffle. Non-symmetric organic basket geometry on the mid and low drivers keeps the structure rigid while allowing free cone motion.
