McIntosh MX123 A/V Processor

The McIntosh MX123 is McIntosh's flagship home theater audio/video processor — a 13.2-channel A/V processor with 10 HDMI ports, comprehensive 8K/4K video support, and every current high-end audio format including Dolby Atmos, DTS:X Pro, Auro-3D, IMAX Enhanced, 360 Reality Audio, and MPEG-H Audio. The MX123 is the current McIntosh processor for the most ambitious reference-tier home theater systems.

10 HDMI inputs and outputs support 8K/60Hz and 4K/120Hz on one HDMI input and two outputs, with HDCP 2.3, Dynamic Lip-sync, Quick Media Switching, Auto Low Latency Mode, Quick Frame Transport, and Variable Refresh Rate. Video support includes Dolby Vision, Dynamic HDR / HDR10+, HLG, Rec. 2020 color, and 4:4:4 color spacing.

Streaming support: Apple AirPlay 2, Bluetooth, Qobuz Connect, Spotify Connect, TIDAL Connect, plus eARC/ARC for TV audio integration. Audyssey MultEQ XT32 room correction. Control4 and Crestron Home certifications for high-end custom install integration.

The 13.2 build-out is amplification-heavy: a full McIntosh cinema system around the MX123 typically pairs an MC303 three-channel amp for L/C/R, an MC257 seven-channel amp for surrounds and heights, and separate subwoofer amplification for the two subwoofer channels.
