McIntosh MHT300 Home Theater Receiver

The McIntosh MHT300 is a 7.2-channel home theater receiver — processor and amplifier combined in a single 3U rack-mountable chassis, expandable to 7.2.4 for Atmos height channels via an external stereo amp. Delivers 150 watts per channel into 4 ohms (120W into 8 ohms) across all 7 amplification channels using a modern digital amplifier topology. For smaller theater rooms or systems where separate amp + processor architecture isn't required, the MHT300 is the McIntosh all-in-one home theater solution.

4 HDMI inputs and 1 HDMI output support 8K/60Hz and 4K/120Hz, with HDCP 2.3, Rec. 2020, 4:4:4 color, and eARC/ARC. Audio format support includes Dolby Atmos and DTS:X. Video support includes Dolby Vision, HDR10+, and HLG.

Dirac Live room correction is included — one of the most sophisticated room-correction platforms available, with the ability to correct room mode issues below 200 Hz and adjust the impulse response for improved imaging and clarity. Control4 and Crestron Home certifications for high-end custom install integration.

For 7.2 systems the MHT300 stands alone; for 7.2.4 immersive audio with height channels, add a stereo McIntosh power amplifier (MC152, MC275, or MC312) to drive four ceiling or in-wall height speakers alongside the receiver's built-in seven-channel amplification. Speaker matching options include the LCR80 across the front stage, XR-series for larger rooms, or Sonus faber Arena in-walls for architectural installations.
