McIntosh DS200 Streaming DAC

The McIntosh DS200 is McIntosh's flagship streaming DAC — a purpose-built network audio streamer with a reference-tier onboard digital-to-analog converter. Released in 2025 as McIntosh's answer to the modern network-first listener, the DS200 replaces the MB50/MB100 lineage with a device that natively supports every major streaming protocol without requiring a separate control app.

Streaming support includes Apple AirPlay, Bluetooth 5.0 (with aptX HD and Low Latency), Google Cast, Qobuz Connect (including Qobuz's high-resolution catalog), Spotify Connect (including Spotify Lossless), TIDAL Connect (including TIDAL Max), and Roon Ready certification. The listener continues to use their preferred streaming service's native app on their phone or tablet — the DS200 receives the stream directly, no dedicated control app required.

The onboard DAC is an 8-channel, 32-bit Quad Balanced design supporting up to DSD512 and DXD 384kHz via USB, and 24-bit/192kHz via coaxial and optical. HDMI ARC input allows TV audio integration. 8 digital audio inputs total for maximum system flexibility. Can be configured for fixed output (feeding a preamp/integrated amp) or variable output (direct to power amp for an all-digital system). Google Assistant compatible for voice control.
