The LRS+ is Magnepan's most affordable current loudspeaker — a two-way quasi-ribbon planar magnetic at $1,295 per pair. It is also, by any reasonable measurement of dollar-for-dollar performance, one of the finest loudspeakers made at any price point. The 2022 Absolute Sound Golden Ear Award, and Jonathan Valin's Product-of-the-Year nominee, sits in a chassis 48 inches tall, 13 inches wide, and 1 inch deep. Given a decent amplifier (recommended 60W+ into 4Ω), the LRS+ delivers transient response, top-octave resolution, and holographic imaging that no dynamic loudspeaker anywhere near its price can approach.
