The Progression Neo Stereo Amplifier is the single-chassis expression of the Neo generation — the same Z JFET-based input stage and 1,800 VA / 96,000 µF power supply as the Neo monoblock, with both channels in one chassis. It delivers 250 watts per channel into 8 ohms, 500 into 4, and 1,000 into 2.
The choice it represents is the familiar one across the D'Agostino catalogue: a stereo chassis buys rack space, simplicity, and a single power connection, without leaving the line or its construction standard. The Neo advances that standard — the ultra-low-noise Z JFET front end, fully balanced complementary discrete circuitry, high-efficiency heatsinks, custom binding posts, and the New Dual Domain Hybrid display meter behind mineral glass.
The honest way to choose between the Neo Stereo and a pair of Neo monoblocks starts from the loudspeaker — its sensitivity, impedance behavior, and room decide how much amplifier the system needs. For many serious systems the stereo chassis is the correct specification, not the compromise.
