The Momentum Phonostage is the vinyl source companion for the Momentum line — built to the same construction standard as the Momentum amplification it partners with, combining the finest analog circuitry with the precision of digital control, every adjustment made from the front panel with its own LED readout.

The configurability is the working substance. Gain runs 50 dB for moving-magnet and 70 dB for moving-coil, trimmable ±6 dB from the front panel; sixteen resistive loads are selectable for both MM and MC inputs, with sixteen capacitive loads for MM — which means a cartridge can be matched precisely to its specified load rather than approximated against a fixed value. Beyond standard RIAA, four alternative equalization curves — Columbia, Decca FFRR, DGG, and RCA Victor Orthophonic — restore correct playback for records cut before the standard settled. Four inputs, two moving-coil and two moving-magnet, accommodate multiple tonearms and turntables, and the two-part power supply — a floor-standing transformer feeding rectification and regulation circuits built into the base the unit sits on — keeps the most delicate signal in audio double-isolated from its own electricity.

Its credential is where it works. In LMC's Scottsdale WAMM Room, the Clearaudio Statement V2 — one of the most ambitious turntables in production — feeds this phono stage into the Relentless Preamplifier, ahead of Relentless 800 monoblocks and the WAMM Master Chronosonic.
