Wisdom Audio Sage Series C225

The C225 is the largest line source in the Sage Series and Wisdom's fullest expression of the architecture. Twenty-four high pressure woofers sit behind the planar line source, and Wisdom rates their combined output as equivalent to an 18-inch woofer — from an enclosure that finishes into a wall.

That matters most on a centre channel, which in a real cinema carries the majority of the dialogue and a large share of the effects load, and which is the channel most often under-specified relative to the left and right. A centre that runs out of headroom before the mains do is the usual reason a system sounds strained in the moments that matter.

Offered in-wall as the C225i and on-wall as the C225m, with custom lengths and colours. It requires an outboard active crossover and DSP, in common with the rest of the Sage line sources.
