Octave Jubilee 300 B Monoblock Amplifier

The Jubilee 300 B is Octave's uncompromising modern implementation of what many consider the finest tube in the high-end sector — the directly-heated 300B triode. Three 300B tubes operate per channel in Octave's proprietary indirect-parallel arrangement, delivering 15W or 30W (selectable) of pure Class-A single-ended triode sound, but without the two limitations that have historically constrained 300B designs: insufficient power for real-world speakers, and the compromises of DC heating.

The core innovation is Octave's 7 Hz linear heating generator, which supplies each of the three 300B tubes with a separately regulated pure sine-wave heater voltage. This engineering breakthrough (a) enables multiple 300B tubes to run in parallel (which typical 50 Hz AC heating cannot support due to hum), (b) eliminates the sonic ripple and RF disturbances that DC heating introduces, and (c) electronically controls both heating and operating voltage so mains fluctuations no longer color the sound. Only under this heating regime does the 300B fully develop the tonal qualities that earn it the title 'queen of tubes.'

The result is emotional, smooth, high-resolution, dynamic, and spatially expansive triode sound — not just in the mid/high range as with most 300B designs, but for the first time across the entire audio band. Octave's Power Management, Soft-Start Electronics, Protection System, BIAS Setting and Display, and Zero Feedback Technology are all standard. Handcrafted in Karlsbad, Germany.
