Product Details
The McIntosh MC303 is a 3-channel solid-state power amplifier designed for the front left, center, and right channels of a high-end home theater system. 300 watts per channel via McIntosh's Autoformer output topology — the same technology that lets 2-channel McIntosh amps deliver constant power into any speaker load. For dedicated home theater applications where the front channels demand identical amplification and matched sonic character across all three, the MC303 is the McIntosh answer.
Autoformer output transformers deliver 300W into any speaker impedance load per channel. Power Guard prevents clipping. Sentry Monitor protects output transistors. Solid Cinch speaker binding posts — three pairs for the three channels.
Pairs naturally with the MC255 (5-channel) or MC257 (7-channel) for surround channels in a 5.x or 7.x system, and with the MX123 or MX200 A/V processor for a full McIntosh cinema system. Or use standalone for a 3-channel front-stage system where the surround channels are handled by separate stereo amplifiers. Available at LMC — walk in during business hours or book ahead.
