Digital inputs include USB, coaxial, optical, and MCT for use with McIntosh SACD/CD transports.

Analog preamplification handles the balanced XLR and unbalanced RCA analog inputs a mixed-source system requires, with the same McIntosh preamp signal-path discipline that defines the C55 or C49 in the analog range.
