The Klimax Twin is Linn's Klimax-line stereo power amplifier - two channels of Linn's patented Chakra amplification in a single machined-from-solid chassis, as the space-efficient alternative to a pair of Klimax Solo monoblocks. It is Linn's highest-performing stereo amplifier.

Chakra is a patented topology that combines the speed and precision of a monolithic chip with the robustness and smoothness of bipolar transistors - the monolithic device handles low currents, with bipolar transistors seamlessly taking over at higher levels. The result is 200W per channel into 4Ω with less heat and distortion than conventional designs. Power comes from Linn's Dynamik switch-mode supply, delivering stable, low-noise power in a compact, cool-running package. The machined-from-solid enclosure provides electrical and mechanical isolation between the audio and power supply boards.

A single Twin runs a passive stereo system; additional Twins can multi-amp a speaker system or take it to fully active Exakt operation in conjunction with the Klimax Exaktbox.
