Kimber Kable KCTG Interconnect

KCTG is the six-wire braid version of KCAG — the same all-silver conductors and the same woven geometry, with the count doubled from three to six. Ray Kimber has confirmed the name stands for Kimber Connect Top Gun, which tells you where it was meant to sit in the range.

Raising the conductor count in a braided cable is not simply more metal. It lowers series resistance and changes the way the woven field cancellation behaves, and in Kimber’s own hierarchy the effect is consistently described as a fuller and richer presentation than the three-wire cable, holding the clarity that makes the silver braid what it is.

It is the top of the classic tri-braid lineage that runs PBJ to Silver Streak to KCAG, and it remains the cable to hear if KCAG has taken a system most of the way but the bottom end and tonal weight are the last things wanted. Available in RCA and balanced XLR.
