Strato E brings 4K playback with lossless multichannel and object-based audio into the smallest chassis Kaleidescape builds — 6.4 inches square, 1.1 inches tall, architectural-grade steel with a mosaic vent pattern and no internal fan.
It was recognised alongside Mini Terra Prime with a 2026 Red Dot Award for Product Design, which is unusual for equipment normally hidden in a rack. The absence of moving parts means it can live in the room rather than the closet.
Internal storage holds roughly six 4K titles, so in practice Strato E is specified as part of a system with a Terra Prime server behind it — which is also what unlocks the full interface. A sensible choice for secondary rooms in a house where the main cinema runs a Strato K or V.
