Clearaudio Innovation Compact

The Innovation Compact reduces the Innovation's footprint without compromising its core engineering: the same 70-millimeter POM main platter, the same patented Ceramic Magnetic Bearing, the same high-torque decoupled 24-volt DC motor with Optical Speed Control, and the same Panzerholz densified-beech plinth construction — sized for a single tonearm rather than two.

The design brief is straightforward. Innovation-tier sonic character is the priority; the second tonearm mount, while useful for parallel setups, isn't always necessary and forces a full-size Innovation chassis to accommodate two arm-board positions. For a listener whose room, furniture, or shelf space cannot accommodate the full-width Innovation chassis but who wants the full Innovation platter-bearing-motor-PSU chain, the Compact is Clearaudio's answer — the same core hardware in a chassis sized for a single tonearm.

Speed accuracy stays tighter than ±0.03% at every rotation across 33-1/3, 45, and 78 rpm, held by Optical Speed Control with real-time infrared sensing. Professional Power 24-volt DC PSU included. One tonearm mount populated at delivery, with Clearaudio's own Tracer, Universal, Verify, or the Statement TT1 linear-tracking tonearm as natural pairings.
