The People Behind the Sound

Mike Ware is the President and co-founder of LMC Home Entertainment. His passion for audio started early: as a young man he tinkered with old stereos, built kit speakers, and got his start buying and selling equipment while serving in the U.S. Navy. After a career that included time as a service director at a Mercedes-Benz dealership, he turned that lifelong obsession into a company, co-founding LMC in Arizona in 1999 alongside partners Leslie and Mike McPheeters.

Under his leadership, LMC has grown into one of the country's most respected high-end audio and reference cinema dealers, Wilson Audio's number one dealer worldwide and a six-time McIntosh Dealer of the Year. He believes exceptional sound lives where art and science meet, and that however advanced the technology becomes, the human ear remains the ultimate judge.

Leslie McPheeters has been part of LMC Home Entertainment since the beginning. She founded the company in 1999 alongside Mike Ware and Mike McPheeters, and she has stayed close to the work ever since — filling many different roles across the life of the business and remaining involved in it every day.

Jordan Thompson is one of the Sales Consultants at LMC, a lifelong music lover and self-described vinyl hoarder. He started with the team as a technician in 2021, spending his days on careful speaker setup, system design, and troubleshooting — work that built a deep understanding of both the systems LMC assembles and the way clients actually live with the equipment.

He has been in sales for three years now, and the part he enjoys most is the chance to guide, educate, and occasionally astonish the people he works with.

Landon Williams is one of the Sales Consultants at LMC. He has been with the company for just over two years and in the audio industry for more than a decade. Before entering the world of high-end audio he managed a record store, where a lifelong passion for music grew into a career centered on helping others connect with the artists and records they love.

He began his career in hi-fi as an installer, specializing in high-end speaker setup and system troubleshooting, before moving into sales. Today he draws on both his musical background and his technical expertise to design personalized two-channel systems and home cinemas around the world's finest audio brands — work that keeps bringing people closer to the music and art they love most.

Sean Turner has been creating luxury residential audio/video spaces professionally for over 29 years. He loves what he does and he loves making people happy — he doesn't just sell high performance stereos and bespoke home theaters, he sells time machines: artfully and masterfully crafted systems that transport his clients to a different time and place.

Sean is an avid lover of music and film, and he has been building systems since he was a child, when his dad gave him his first component stereo system at age 6. He has designed, sold, installed, and managed hundreds of special projects ranging from thousands of dollars to many millions.

Sean joined LMC in 2026 because Mike has hand-picked the team and built the most special experience center in North America. “We really are the best at what we do,” he says, “and I'm proud to be a part of it!”

Zach Gwaltney is the Operations Manager at LMC Home Entertainment. He joined the company in July 2025 and has spent around thirteen years in the audio and video industry.

He is new to Arizona, having previously lived in Cincinnati, Ohio, and he is passionate about home theaters. When he is not at work, he spends his time with his wife of twenty years and their two daughters.

Paul Henningsen is a Sales Consultant and Theater Design Specialist at LMC, working out of the Tempe showroom.

His audio journey began in the eighties, when he hired on as Christmas help in the stereo department of a local retailer. He ended up working there 15 years, during which time he earned a degree in design from Arizona State. He combines 40+ years of experience with specialized training to ensure that his clients receive a theater with both thrilling performance and an amazing, one-of-a-kind look.

Christian Hubler's obsession with sound started early, watching his dad spin 80s and 90s punk and alternative records. Before long, he was hijacking the family Sony CD player, Yamaha receiver, and Pioneer speakers to craft his own mixtapes and custom CDs.

Today he has turned that lifelong passion into a career at LMC, managing high-end pre-owned gear sales on Audiogon and HiFi Registry while keeping things running smoothly in the office, the warehouse, and out in the field. Off the clock, he can usually be found catching a live show or unwinding with a good glass of whiskey and an album playing in the background.
