PowerBank 6 is Transparent’s entry-tier power conditioner — a six-outlet chassis with integrated surge protection and passive power conditioning, designed to work seamlessly with any Transparent audio cable tier. Compact enough for a desktop, a rack, or free-standing use (rack-mountable with brackets), it fits scenarios PowerWave is oversized for: a stand-alone component like a subwoofer, a TV, or a projector; a modest music or home-theatre system; or a secondary rack in a distributed installation.

The engineering runs on the same fundamental Transparent philosophy the higher-tier PowerIsolators share — passive power conditioning that never limits current and never adds distortion. Transparent’s power products eliminate line noise and modulation distortion, and suppress spikes and surges, without using transformers, chokes, or other series filtering devices (which the higher tiers avoid because those methods limit current capability and add distortions). Avalanche-diode surge protection is instantaneous and never wears out; coaxial and gigabit-network source surge protectors safeguard signal-chain paths beyond the AC line.

Physically, the chassis is 16.65” × 6.10” × 1.75”, 5.3 lb. A hardwired six-foot power cord ships with the unit, sized for installation between a wall outlet and the equipment rack; the cord is upgradeable on request.
