REL 212 Black Label

212 Black Label sits at the top of REL's 2025 Serie S refresh — and closer to Reference performance than any Serie S has come before. Two active 12" (305mm) drivers and two passive 12" drivers fire in three planes from a single cabinet, powered by 1000W of amplification. The result is massive dynamics, speed and inner detail that get to the inner workings of complex music, plus sledgehammer bass for cinema special effects. This is the model that experienced audio connoisseurs reach for when nothing else in the Serie S range can quite deliver everything at once.

The Black Label treatment adds hand-rubbed piano black lacquer (eight coats) with the single vertical accent line leading to the crown badge — REL's design signature for the top-tier Serie S. Delicate horizontal strake lines divide the side walls into sectors the eye can understand. Compared to its predecessor (212/SX), the new 212 Black Label has redesigned suspension geometry, increased diffuser travel, and upgraded SuperProgressive passive radiators with 30% more linear travel.
