Description
The McIntosh MB25 is a Bluetooth 5.0 Transceiver — a small, compact component that adds high-quality Bluetooth streaming to any McIntosh system, particularly older or non-streaming systems that lack native wireless connectivity. Uniquely, the MB25 operates as either a TRANSMITTER (send audio from a McIntosh source to Bluetooth headphones or speakers) or RECEIVER (send audio from a phone/tablet to a McIntosh amp or preamp), letting a single MB25 handle both directions of Bluetooth streaming.
Bluetooth 5.0 with AAC, Qualcomm aptX HD, and aptX Low Latency codec support delivers the best Bluetooth audio quality currently available. Front panel input selection and signal rate / connection type displays keep the user informed of the connection state. Small footprint — not much bigger than a smartphone — makes the MB25 easy to place in any system.
