Description
Neolith is the culmination of four decades of electrostatic loudspeaker development at Martin Logan. Two 12-inch high-excursion aluminum cone woofers deliver seismic bass. A 12-inch curvilinear line source XStat electrostatic panel handles the midrange. And a 22-inch XStat panel takes over from there, resolving the top four octaves with the transparency and image specificity that electrostatic transducers deliver at their finest.
Every Neolith is voiced and assembled by hand at Martin Logan's Lawrence, Kansas facility. Bi-amped internally with 1000 watts of total bass amplification (500W per driver), Neolith presents the fullest expression of the electrostatic ideal — dynamic, tonally rich, and coherent from 23 Hz to 22 kHz.
In the Scottsdale reference room, hear Neolith driven by Dan D'Agostino Momentum and dCS Varèse — the most transparent front end in Arizona feeding the most transparent transducer ever built.
