The 9 × 41 inch XStat curvilinear line source electrostatic panel handles everything from 375 Hz up with the same transparency, imaging specificity, and top-octave resolution as the larger Masterpiece models. Below, an 8-inch high-excursion aluminum cone woofer with an 8-inch passive radiator delivers passive bass extension to 34 Hz — no external amplifier required. Sensitivity is 91 dB, so even modest amplification drives Classic ESL 9 to reference levels in real rooms.
