Linn 150 Floor-Standing Loudspeaker

The Linn 150 is Linn’s high-performance floor-standing loudspeaker — introduced in Autumn 2024 as the tower companion to the 119 bookshelf, and the natural loudspeaker choice for Linn Selekt DSM and Majik DSM systems where a floor-standing form factor is a requirement but the flagship 360 active reference is out of scope.

The engineering premise is Linn’s throughout: build the drive units to match the character of the source and amplification that drives them. Linn-engineered driver technology in a compact floor-standing tower, voiced across Linn’s contemporary loudspeaker program alongside the 119 bookshelf, and consistent with the tonal target that runs from the Majik DSM at the entry through Klimax DSM at the reference. What the 150 adds over the 119 is the low-frequency extension, dynamic headroom, and physical presence in the room a real floor-standing loudspeaker delivers.

The application is straightforward. A Linn stereo built around Selekt DSM Classic Hub or Edition Hub, with either internal Power Amp cartridges or external Klimax amplification, driving a pair of 150s in a room where the seating position is beyond nearfield distance and the buyer wants full-range performance without moving up to the active 360.

At $7,805 in current Linn pricing, the 150 is available for audition at the Tempe showroom. Walk in during business hours or book ahead for a prepared listening session — Tempe’s Linn system configuration is available in the demonstration room and pairs naturally with the 150 for the intended-use audition.
