Behind every song is a story. Join LMC for an evening with special guest Neal Preston, the photographer who has spent decades capturing rock’s most influential artists, at our Scottsdale showroom on Thursday, November 19, 2026, from 5:30 to 8:30 PM.
Meet the photographer
Neal Preston was Led Zeppelin’s U.S. tour photographer in the mid-1970s, toured Mexico and South America with Queen in 1981, and was one of the official photographers at Live Aid in 1985. He will share the stories behind some of his best-known images: Freddie Mercury doing his own makeup backstage in 1980, Michael Jackson stopping by to say hello before a Queen show in Los Angeles, Carlos Santana alone behind the amps at Oakland Stadium in 1976, and Pink Floyd posing in front of The Wall.
Hear the music behind the photographs
Then hear those stories as music. The Burmester 232 integrated amplifier, paired with Burmester B-Series loudspeakers, brings the emotion, atmosphere and finest nuances of each recording into the room. It is a fitting pairing: before founding Burmester in Berlin in 1977, Dieter Burmester was a musician himself, the bassist of The Echos.
