Description
S/550 is REL's entry into the current Serie S — the smallest cabinet, positioned for medium-sized rooms and more balanced systems. A 10" CarbonAlloy driver mates to a 12" passive radiator and a 550W Pure Class D amplifier (note: S/550 uses Pure Class D, not the Linear Class D of the S/850 and above — the tradeoff is efficiency for cost). Bass character remains the Serie S signature: faster and more articulate than any prior REL at this price point, mating cleanly with two-channel systems and Dolby Atmos rigs alike.
Available in Black or White high-gloss. Cloth grille standard, premium wood grille as add-on. Airship Direct wireless compatible. Line Array compatible up to three units per side — a three-pack of S/550s in a medium room delivers Serie S scale without the S/850 investment.
