Description
The McIntosh WS300 shares the WS500's 3-way, fully enclosed architecture and titanium-dome midrange and tweeter complement, scaled to a single 8-inch woofer for placements where the WS500's dual-woofer footprint isn't needed. As a stereo pair it fills a room; as a center channel between a pair of WS500 fronts, or across a full front-center-surround stage of matched WS300s, it keeps a home theater's voicing continuous from channel to channel.
The same shallow, long-throw woofer design fits standard 2x4 wall construction, and the controlled air chamber and molded carbon-reinforced cone construction carry over from the WS500. Add one or more CS200 in-ceiling speakers, also voice-matched, to complete a whole-room or whole-home installation. Pairs with the MI128 or MI254 distribution amplifiers.
