Twelve channels of distribution amplification in one fanless 2U chassis — 50 W into 8 Ω or 90 W into 4 Ω per channel, with bussable inputs and outputs.

Product Details

Description

The McIntosh MI1250 distributes music to twelve channels across a home from a single 2U chassis — 50 watts into 8 ohms or 90 watts into 4 ohms per channel, via the same closed-loop digital switching amplification and robust power supply design that defines the MI-series. Bus inputs and outputs distribute a stereo signal to multiple zones or multiple amplifiers with a single connection, and channel-summing circuits handle mono distribution cleanly.

As a Class D design it needs no cooling fan, so an equipment closet full of MI1250s stays silent. 12-volt triggering synchronizes power on and off with connected McIntosh components, and the black-glass front panel with illuminated logo keeps the industrial design consistent with the rest of the catalog, even tucked away in a rack most owners never see.
