McIntosh CS200 In-Ceiling Loudspeaker

The McIntosh CS200 brings the same 3-way engineering standard overhead — an 8-inch woven glass-fiber woofer with two 2-inch inverted titanium-dome midranges and a 3/4-inch titanium-dome tweeter, the same midrange and tweeter drivers used in McIntosh's XR50 and XR100 home audio speakers. The midrange-and-tweeter array rotates within its mount, so directivity can be aimed at the listening area regardless of how the ceiling opening falls relative to the seats below.

Voice-matched to the WS500 and WS300 in-wall speakers, the CS200 completes a whole-room or whole-home distributed system without a tonal seam between wall and ceiling channels — useful as a surround or height channel in a dedicated theater, or as the sole speaker in a room where wall-mounting isn't an option.
