MBL C11 Preamplifier

The MBL C11 is the Cadenza Line preamplifier — seven analogue inputs, extremely low harmonic distortion, and optional MC phono module in the most accessible MBL preamp chassis. For MBL Cadenza Line systems where the flexibility of a dedicated preamp is preferred to the integrated approach of the C51, the C11 is the natural choice — and it delivers the same fundamental preamp design philosophy as the Noble Line N11 and Reference Line 6010 D preamps at the tier’s entry price.

The argument for a dedicated preamplifier over an integrated is standard across the industry: separating source-switching and volume control from the high-current amplification stage isolates the preamp’s quiet operating environment from the amplifier’s power supply demands. In MBL’s case, the preamp lineage runs from the flagship 6010 D through the Noble N11 to the Cadenza C11 — each tier engineered against the same design targets, differing in refinement, power supply scale, and construction rather than in fundamental approach.

Seven analogue inputs total. Two RCA variable outputs, one Record output, and one balanced XLR output cover source flexibility and multi-zone requirements. Optional MC Phono Input (RCA) OR an additional XLR input — the C11 can be configured for phono use OR extended balanced source flexibility, but not both. Extremely low harmonic distortion preserves the natural timbre of instrumental recordings. Firmware update via SD card; MBL SmartLink for networked system control.
